Mitsubishi has unveiled the Colt Plus - a compact estate based on its existing Colt platform.

Designed specifically for the domestic market, the vehicle it Mitsubishi's 'trump card in the compact segment.' Design features include:

[*]300mm longer rear overhang than Colt [*]60% more cargo volume with five passengers

 

But the Colt Plus is more than just a standard Colt with a big boot. Styled to be more conservative, it nonetheless offers a neat range of practical features:

[*]Power-operated tailgate [*]Single-action folding rear seats [*]Height-adjustable cargo floor

 

Mitsubishi hopes to sell 2000 of the vehicles every month in Japan. There are no plans, however, to offer it in any export market.
