Issit true that using a bigger size rim de fuel comsumption is high???

Things about tyres that may affect your FC:

1) The total weight of wheel (combine weight of the tyre and rim)

2) The width of tyre (195 till 245!)

3) Compound of tyre (diff material = diff resistance)

4) Thread pattern (sports or economy)

 

Item 1 and 2 is more significant, my guess.

 

In other words, huge lighter wheels is better than heavy small wheels anytime!

nah unless the overall size of the rim + tire is bigger than the original size den it will affect the consumption..

try getting bigger rims with low profile tyres should be somewhere the same

correct me if im wrong...

Yup, of all things, your rolling diameter must maintain, refer to the resource folder for the calculation.

 

Good luck in yr upgrading thumbsup.gif. If yr havin a 318 nosebleed.gif, my view is 18"s will look great!
