Change Clutch or just the Clutch "skin"

recently, my clutch is slipping like crazy with i full throttle the car... damma sian.. i ask around and shops like riverview quote me abt $260 for a new clutch... anyone care to comment abt it..

should i just add a new "skin" to the clutch or change the whole things....thanks

260 bucks is considered reasonable cos need to remove and change new clutch and the other labour/material...

 

maybe u like to compare other workshops before committing.

u may wanna check with lee sheng as they do have clutch package. normally those smaller workshops are cheaper than stamford/CAS and such.

i think if u wanna keep the car for long then change the whole assembly better. if selling off soon, then heck care n change the clutch plate will do lah.

oic but i left 2 yrs on the car.... how? what are the effects of just changing the clutch skin???
