Strut Bar for Nissan Sunny

I would like to install a front strut bat for my Nissan Sunny. Anyone out there got lobang? Cheap and good one, just one across the engine will do. This will help me in my lousy cornering techniques.

Does the Strut bar just balance it or does it really help big time in cornering? Pardon my ignorance...really wanted to know cos my Sunny not beri stable when cornering too and i am quite reluctant to lower the suspension..

Got mine from Car Beauty for $58 some time last year, no name one. I don't race but feels that it does help in road holding when cornering. Think there isn't rear struct bar available for sunny locally, else might get one for the rear too.

What do you mean not stable? Here's my explantion.

Say when you negotiate a gentle corner at only 40-50kmh, the sunny usually roll (you sway sideways) quite a bit, nothing hairy but irritating, the strutbar minimise that roll. The roll is of course still there but less You can't really eliminate centrifuge force.

 

If you corner into a carpark slowly with minimal roll, the strut bar helps by making it almost disappear. It does not help road holding in a big way but rather ride comfort in terms of reducing that whoooaa bodyroll. (Idiots will think it helps roadholding like mad and start cornering to their deaths at 90)

 

If you cut corners at 70-90, u need more than a strutbar. You need sway bars and the works on your suspension and better tyres.

 

I am going to the meetup tonight. If you wanna drop by for a 'test' ride, you are most welcome. (please no corners at 90kmh)

 

For me, this improvement is worth the money paid unlike dodgy 'improvement' project such as magnets etc. You can feel the difference, it's not psychological.

got mine in JB for RM165....dun play cornering too much....buang once and damage my fender....thus dun dare liaoz......

 

anyway wan betta handling i believe lowering is a betta chocie wif a strut bar..but dun go for lowering spring....
