hi,

 

i am interested to made foglight with white light for my new car. any recommendation.any shop do good foglight and white light bulb? is is recommneded? approved by LTA?

i heard that we cant turn on the foglight unnessary so as not to blind the driver in front.true?

Fog lights are more for cosmetic than practical use in SG, but it's legal.

make sure that the foglight is made for your car model, that is to say, it's an optional feature that comes with your car, if you get those 3rd party type, it'll most likely to fail LTA inspection.

there are a few occasions that warrant the use of the foglights, especially in very heavy rain and of course the very unlikely to happen "Haze" from neighbouring forest fires

Your car what type ? If popular one not hard to get Taiwan made ones at half the price quoted by your SE. Any white light will do as long as it is around 55-60 w. Some white light bulbs have 100-120w and can cause heavy strain on your battery, leading to bulb or socket short circuit.

Bulb short can change but the socket short hor damn Ja Lak Arhh !!

you can install any foglight as long as got CE marking and it has a cover over it. and make sure that you cover it when not in use.

 

for safety reasons (against fine) best u stick to Hella (yellow lens).
