But I heard its pricing here might be similar to that in Europe, being on the same level as BMW and Audi (for the 2L version). Just look at the price of the 2.0L GT in Singapore, much more expensive than the BMW 318 when it was launched. I pray that EA would not price the 159 .

Yeah.. that was what I thought too. i.e you sold your 156 and elft the country. Did not know you are back. Well you were one of those who helped me choose the 156 over the CL7 and no regrets.

 

Speaking of Shanghai.... I am now in the SilverKris Lounge in Shanghai typing this message .... on my way back to SG.... man, do I miss my 156 (yes, still driving this babe) for the past week.

I still do travel to Shanghai every month, duration of about 1 week each trip, sometime, extending the trip to Beijing for a few days.

I opt to stay in the hotels in PuDong, since it is slightly quieter, roads are wider and more convenient for me to get ot work. You do not need to have a good voice to Sing in shanghai....

Hi, I was enthralled by the Fiat Stilo - both its design and specs.

 

2.4L 5-cylinder 20v engine @ 170 BHP / 221 Nm sounds cool.

 

Do you happen to know the history of this engine ... like if its a newly developed lump, or have been used in other Fiat models? I don't recall Alfas having had a 5-potter engine model.

p.s. At $105K for the 5-dr hatch model, I think its value for money.

Just wished that it could do 0-100 in sub 8 secs though.
