The toyota mark X also produce more tahn 230++ bhp with just a 2.5L engine , I don't think it is vfery imprssive already man [shakehead][shakehead][shakehead]

Is not a turbo charged car. Well, the Chevolet Corvette is even worse. 5.7 litre V8 with 350+ horses. That's even worse. Anyway, this engine was used in the Batman begins Bat mobile. For the US model, they hardly use TC or SC. They normally use NA with OHV engine.

It's a US-market car, so torque plays a bigger role other than plain bhp alone.

 

My Mercury Cougar 4.6 V8 SOHC has "only" 205bhp but 280ft-lb of torque, good enough to roast tires at a stop light [laugh]
