blogentry-133713-0-96501900-1454208935_thumb.jpgThe very first 2017 Acura NSX has been sold for an impressively high price at Barrett-Jackson's Scottsdale auction in the States. Winning the bid was Rick Hendrick who paid S$1.7million for the hybrid sport car. According to report, he is the owner of Hendrick Motorsports, a successful American racing team which currently competes in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

It is said that in recent years, he has also purchased the first 2012 Camaro ZL1 at the same auction.

All the proceeds of the auction will benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground.

FYI, the Acura NSX is uses a twin-turbocharged V6 engine combined with three electric motors that outputs a strong 570bhp. It does the century sprint in around 3 seconds via its all wheel drive system and uses a nine-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
