blogentry-133713-0-70217300-1470188864_thumb.jpgGood news for those who want a Koenigsegg. The Swedish manufacturer is planning to increase production to slash the excessive waiting times of two and a half years.

Spotted on the official Koenigsegg Twitter account, the news was confirmed after a fan asked how long it would take to build and deliver a car if he were to theoretically order one now.

Considering that less than 150 of these hypercars have been built since the brand started series production 14 years ago, a 30 month wait isn't all that surprising. Besides, these owners should have quite a few other toys to drive around in first while waiting for their Koenigsegg to come.

According to sources from the net, all 25 units of the Agera RS have been sold and customers can now only order the transmission-less Regera which is claimed to be faster than the Bugatti Chiron.
