As the best-selling two-seater sports car in history, the Mazda MX-5 Miata enjoys a considerable following around the world and owners will be happy to hear that the Japanese company is launching two new services catered specifically to owners of first-generation Eunos roadsters or MX-5 as the other parts of the world calls it.

Firstly, Mazda will start offering parts for the NA series MX-5 and for now, it will focus on providing what it thinks owners might need most, namely the fabric roof, the Bridgestone tyres, the Nardi steering wheel and the shift knob. These items were selected as they tend to be worn-out the fastest. Other items may be added by popular demand.

The other service is the possibility of fully restoring your car. No prices have been given but you can be sure that by letting them restore your NA rMX-5 to factory-fresh condition two decades after it ceased production the, your wallet will be much lighter after the process. Cars which have been restored will then be certified to ensure their restoration operation meets the highest criteria.

Sadly, these services are only available in Japan for the time being.
