Revealed at the UEFA Champions League Final in Kiev, Nissan's latest robot is said to be inspired by the brand's ProPILOT driver assistance tech, the Pitch-R features a four-camera vision system, GPS tracking and collision avoidance technology, allowing it to draw white lines on grass, tarmac or gravel using paint that can dissolve.

The Pitch-R can maneuver on its own to analyze its surroundings in real time while scanning for a suitable place to draw a football pitch. If there are obstacles in its way, it can navigate around them too. Drawing on uneven surfaces are not an issue for it too.

Nissan says that it can take less than 20 minutes for Pitch-R to draw pitches for either five-a-side, seven-a-side or a 11-a-side team game.
