As reported by Automotive News, the affected vehicles are Mercedes-Benz Vitos that uses the 1.6-litre diesel engine, Porsche's 3.0-litre V6 diesel Macans, and Cayennes with 4.2-litre diesel engines.

These cars will be banned starting from 17th of August but owners who are already driving these cars can still continue to drive on Swiss roads as long as their owners can get them retrofitted with the countermeasures from their respective companies.

This might be one of the stronger examples of what government officials around the world could do as a result of the diesel emissions cheating experienced by the industry so far. It is likely other countries will follow soon in time to come.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
