Autocar has reported that the the small SUV has already attracted 4,500 people to sign up as “interested” on Suzuki’s U.K. website, more than doubling the previous Jimny’s best annual volume in Britain.

blogentry-133713-0-86139400-1539772605_thumb.jpegThis has created a little problem for Suzuki as the Japanese company's British head Dale Wyatt, estimates the country will only get 1,100 cars in the first year, followed by 2,000 per year thereafter.

This is on top of reports saying that supply in Japan itself is also limited as the car is doing better than expected in its home country.

The little SUV is likely to come to Singapore with a 1.5-litre petrol four that outputs 100bhp and 130Nm of torque. If we are lucky, a manual five-speed gearbox might be available as an option as opposed to the standard four-speed auto.

  • Carpark Review: Junction 8

Built in the 1980s, Bishan (or Bishan New Town) may not be one of the earliest housing estates in Singapore, but it was the first whose HDB architecture saw a departure from the more brutalist designs of the past and featured more variation in height and design.  Residents are primarily served by Junction 8, which opened in 1993. Now more than 30 years old, it remains the sole mall in the Bishan East area. Driving there? Here’s our quick review of the carpark.  Manoeuvrability: T
