  1. Recently, I drove Honda Jazz. The engine was screaming and speed still increases. This is far cry from Honda Civic Hybrid from FD era. RPM moves but car still stationary.
  2. Can somebody tell me the diff between these 2 car? As in the exterior. How to diff them without looking the interior/engine bay? One of the picture is Jazz while the other is Fit. cheers people.
  3. Hello Everyone, I saw that some drivers in the Honda jazz fit group on Facebook received notifications of vehicle recall due to Fuel pump impeller. Personally, i have not received the notifications but out of curiosity, i went to onemotoring to check on it since my car is a Honda Fit manufactured in 2019. True enough, it was under a recall program. Under the Onemotoring page, i was advised to contact the importer or dealer for rectifications. I have since then contacted the importer to ask for advice. However, i was directed to contact my dealer to get it rectified instead. My dealer may have closed down and I shared this with the importer. I was informed to get it rectified at my own workshop. My work shop however have turned down this rectification work as they do not know exactly what needs to be replace or changed. As the description of it is very brief. "Improper molding conditions in the impeller (resin impeller) of a low-pressure fuel pump can cause the resin density to become low, causing it to swell and become deformed by the fuel. As a result, the impeller may come into contact with the pump case, causing the fuel pump to malfunction, and in the worst-case scenario, the engine may stall while driving. Replace the low-pressure fuel pump with a countermeasure item." I have since informed the importer that my dealer has possible closed down and that my workshop do not want to do the job - pending their reply. Any advice from anyone who have faced or are facing such issues at the moment ? Thank you.
  4. Updates: Some of my friends driving Kah Motor's Jazz GK3 and GK5 just received the notifications of the recall as well. Have not informed them to book appointment yet.
  5. I drove 2015 Honda Jazz. CVT so much better that Mitsu Outlander
  6. This guy sure as hell won't be driving a jazz, brand name more important, even it's in it's skeleton.
  7. 2015 Honda Jazz has reverse camera and sensor. If this Merc don't have, deserve to be ROFL
  8. thats what i did as well in 2012 ....sold my wish and bought a 2nd hand Grandis....wish was sold higher than the price i bought... drove grandis till scrap and then all the savings and "profits" from Jazz and Wish all used up to pay for my current ride.... Now in my 8th yr....another 2 yrs to crack my head what car to get or just renew...
  9. interestingly that was my thots as well when i got my Jazz in 2008 at rock bottom COE price..and drove for 2 yrs and still make a small "profit". However, as you said, if you don't intend to get a replacement car, no way you will be able to hang on to the "profit". Unless you have multiple cars and buy cars like change dress....haaha in the end, as long as we are driving and need a car.....the market will "correct" itself and our "profit" will eventually be absorbed back into the market....the market is always the winner, in this case, the G lah....ahhhahahah Enjoy our weekend bro....
  10. I look at depreciation and final scrap value. Depreciation is obvious. Why PARF. A higher parf means if the coe tanks or if rule changes you get back more. Your paper might be more than the price of a similar new car. A low parf gives the option to renew coe with a lower outlay. an example of a fit vs a jazz. PI used to under declare this a lower parf. If they sell for the same price as a jazz then I rather get a jazz as likely it has a higher paper and thus low depre. However if one decides to renew then both are the same. Then you look at car condition. yes I know the difference isn’t huge. But still some difference. All the more for some used imported cars where the parf is low.
  11. Guyz, i have this issue with the family's honda jazz ehev. 1. The brake pedal has straining sound => Kah Motors (Mandai), the lousy service adviser keep lubricating but refuse to change the brake pedal. After the "lubricating", the problem comes back. we quite sick and tired of going back to Kah Motors (Mandai) 2. Hybrid battery gt some latency activating lately ended up the fuel consumption increased and efficiency dropped significantly. Any bros or sisters got any Kah Motor service center to recommend going instead of Mandai
  12. @Beregond hi, on location of fuel pump - FYI the fuel tank is actually below front passenger seats in the Jazz, not rear like most other cars. Did a quick Google search on Jazz and the fuel pump should be underneath centre console.
  13. I've been noticing these adverts with Price AFTER TRADE IN of current rims. Frankly, there's ZERO trade in value at all. The shops are treating consumers as kum gong or suckers. Tested a famous shop at Serangoon North last week. Because of the installation on BBK, i gotta swap rims. Ended up with a pristine set of Vossen and Advanti in 19s. Those suckers told me they will take my 2x sets n sell me AMG at 1.3k. I told them fly a kite. Sold my Vossen at 1k n kept my Advanti. This loose change will allow me to buy better rims. In so far, only Ray S n the shop at Killiney have no such jazz. Whats your experiences folks?
  14. thinking of changing from a coe jazz to a parf golf. my coe for my jazz is till 2024 april. been searching on sgcarmart and carousell almost every other day. im aware volkswagens have a spotty reputation for longevity especially used ones but i've done my calculations and im prepared to set aside a budget to repair some concerns, other than possible chance of a failing mechatronic, clutch, water pump, leaks, anything else to look out for? looking at this particular consignment unit, with the intention to renew for another 10 years but pqp might be too crazy then https://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.php?ID=1123969&DL=3414
  15. Honda Jazz already $160k. Just treat it like a Jazz🤭
  16. Prior to this, my previous experience with CVT was Honda Civic FD hybrid. That was really horrible. Jazz i drove was YOM 2015.
  17. Recently I drove previous Gen Honda Jazz and there is no rubber band effect. Just step and the car goes. To reduce engine noise, release throttle to upshift.
  18. also called KAH motors Jazz is not affected by recall as FIT is PI model, so KAH not involved in recall for this model
  19. They are delusional mah. Small package, also think they are pornstar class. So same when they drive small Fit/Jazz, but think is a prime mover + 40 footer 😀
  20. Have u gotten ur FL212 or Check out a few oredi ? Am not surprised nobody respond to yr Query. Guess ppl here are more interested in copy & past new Mercs model in overseas publication & post here. As I mentioned previously ,dun waste Space or bandwidth to C&P all dis,it’s all over in the internet . Waste time onli. Yes,the FL ones ……… Be careful of Fake ones ,there are many out there who have the 1.8 version but with Face Lifted Clothes. Namely Front Headlights ,Font Bonnet & Rear Taillight. U asked the 200/250? Naturally the 250 is a better proposition with over 200 horses. I used to owns the Cabriolet 250 version ,it’s jazz Sublime. Dun get carried away with the Specs ,the FL & the PFL have identical HP but it’s Quicker,naturally.. Another thing to watch out for , the Transmission is the 7GTronic+ ,notice the plus. dat wii come in handy when u change yr ATF. Do update us,Let us noe where u are Now?
