I choose altis over mazda 3 mainly due to mazda 3 interior too tight liao. Altis more spacious. I like cars which is spacious and roomy. But if i choose the design, i would pick mazda 3 than altis.

Yup, space is one of the key reasons I would choose Altis over Mazda 3 as well.. we family man have to prioritize comfort for the family.. if I was young and single then maybe will pick Mazda 3 for the looks.

This mazda 3 launched in 2019. How come mazda never facelifts or launch a new model?! Cars made in Thailand indeed not an issue, car no need must made in Japan then good. 😂 But i see the facelifted altis, think not a major facelift, cannot spot any big difference. I find same like the pre-facelift model.

Mazda 3 is a very old model and has not been revamped at all for ages. Don't know what Mazda is doing. Altis recently facelifted. It's a better buy. Made in Thailand is not an issue. Obviously, COE is still high. So any new car isn't cheap. Do your own calculus before deciding to buy.

While I would pick Altis over Mazda 3, the more tricky choice would be whether to pick a EV like atto3 over the Altis.. atto3 cheaper somemore

I drove Altis and Mazda 3 b4... personally, interior M3 beats Altis n I preferred the ext. look of M3.

Mazda 3 Classic price is $154,888 after discount. $172,888 is the list price. Costs $2,000 more than Toyota Altis but better buy as it's assembled in Japan， not Thailand.

The new “3” will employ Mazda’s latest Skyactiv-Vehicle Architecture. The platform is said to be stronger while providing a much better ride quality. But the big news for the fourth-generation “3” is the debut of Mazda’s new SkyActiv-X gasoline enginefeaturing Spark Controlled Compression Ignition. This innovative four-cylinder unit combines characteristics of diesel and regular gasoline engines, using spark plug ignition to “control compression ignition”. In short, it ignites the fuel-air mixture similar to a diesel engine promising to combine the fuel efficiency of the former with all the benefits of a gasoline unit, without the emissions penalty. Mazda forecasts an output of around 190 horsepower with 170 lb-ft (230Nm) of peak torque from the 2.0-liter version. That puts it well above today’s 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G that delivers 155hp and 150 lb-ft (203Nm) and on par with the bigger 2.5-liter Skyactiv-G with 184hp and 185 lb-ft (250Nm). The difference here is that Mazda is targeting at least a 20 percent improvement in fuel economy and up to 25 percent less carbon dioxide emissions over the current Skyactive G engines. Hi newbie here. Have an urgent qn to ask and need answer so thought of this forum. I understand need a certain number of posts here but I don't frequent forums habitually. If anyone see this question kindly guide me. My question. If my car vibrate when idle / stopping at traffic light.. and rpm constant.. and okay when driving, is that a cause for concern *? 8 years old car and mileage 120k. Mazda 3. What can I do. Please.

What the video showed The undated video showed a Mazda 3 bearing the GetGo livery travelling north along Punggol Way, towards the Punggol Field intersection, where some cars had stopped at the road junction. As it passed under a pedestrian overhead bridge, the GetGo car's brake lights came on. It did not appear to hit any other vehicles. The brake lights remained on up till the point of impact. Commenters suspect brake failure The car's brake lights were on as the car approached the junction, and were on for at least 5 to 7 seconds before the car mounted the kerb. Commenters on Facebook shared their suspicion that the car's brakes may have failed and that the car driver had taken evasive action to prevent ramming into the vehicles ahead. Next time you sell your car to a dealer just clock it and get a better price! Get your MIL to sell to the dealer and tell them she is the driver. Retired _ _ _ and only drive at weekend to market! Make clocking work for you and if the dealer sues you in court like that lawyer that bought the clocked Mazda 3 and lost his case, get the lawyer used by the dealer!

At 7 years....time to change, can feel car sluggish, rpm idling erractic....vibration, harsh engine, most important when idling, headlights all fluctuate bright and dim, must order in advance, japan than make, ship over at least 2 months..all fresh coz capacitor got life span.

Paid for package servicing with discount 1 year ago...so just went in. Major servicing so book 1st slot at 8am. Things to do: Change oil, flush engine,all the filters change, fuel/air/air con/spark plugs, no car wash(I don't want) tyres rotate and balancing, handbrake lever adjust lower. 3pm collected the car. Seems like not so many cars, mine book 2 weeks in advance. I waited 1 year for this servicing, in between change oil outside once coz low millage due to semi retired, less use of the car. 2 years 6 mths more, then scrap the car since COE so high. Sharing infomation for Mazda 3 owners. For those who wants to change Capacitors, they are priced at $2.3k,they mentioned if don't change nothing wrong but battery life shortened by half, meaning 1 year change once, but your warnings lights will flash...

I bought both cars new in 06 and 16. Hopefully, 26 will be low coe year too. I know of 2 persons who own mazda 3. 1 sold it at around 5th year mark as mazda technicians are unable to resolve recurring faults. The 2nd one running theirs in it's 9th year. Never heard they have issues. Sometimes it is really heng suay. -

Hi All, I’m new to 116i, own it for only 14 days. It is definitely better than my old Mazda 3 in term of pick up and Road noise isolation. But the sound system Mazda is better. FC for 116i only at 8.9 km/L… 😒 Mazda can get 12km/L… 116i start/stop also very sensitive… Is there any 1 series WhatsApp chat group..?
