Genie47 1st Gear October 20, 2006 Share October 20, 2006 I know that the Subaru Legacy and Outback uses the Bosch wideband sensors. Most of the VW use them like the Golf GTI and most of the 1.8T powered ones. Any idea if the lambda sensor can be bought from local stockists? ↡ Advertisement
Falc 3rd Gear October 20, 2006 Share October 20, 2006 Yes. At least i know the VW one can be bought of Xinzhong (62916051), not sure if it's Bosch, but no harm calling to ask.
Genie47 1st Gear October 20, 2006 Author Share October 20, 2006 If it is VW and is used on the models listed, confirm it is the Bosch LSU 4.2 one. Looking at the Bosch part number ending with 7200 or 7057/58. Got to do some wire splicing too. The connectors are different.
Falc 3rd Gear October 20, 2006 Share October 20, 2006 Is it for your CNG project? The ECU must be able to read wideband right, since the voltage will be of a different range and sensitivity than narrowband.

Genie47 1st Gear October 21, 2006 Author Share October 21, 2006 Yes for the CNG. The standard ones we have cannot read 17:1 AFR. I believe the CNG ECU can do that. Or.....I can hook up Megasquirt to replace the CNG ECU.
