Meguiar's gold class trim detailer after a shower

It leaves a nice durable gloss on exterior trim during hot days, however look at what happens in the wet.

 

It streaks and oily stains are left on the paint, whats worst is that the entire trim will have white stains all over.

Totally agree with you.

AutoGlym is only good for their Bumper care and windscreen product.

 

I have used Meguiars products for both my rides, Honda & Hyundia.

Listed below are what I've purchased and used to keep my ride shinning all the time.

Someone mentioned Autoglym bumper care...does it last? if it can endure a few car washes then i think the product is good.

From those photos, it looks like somebody applied wax on the trims without much knowledge.

 

After buff off, he/she thought by using the exterior trim it will clean up/hide the wax residue.

 

So when the exterior trim detailer dries up, the residue appears again. No trim detailer can hide this problem effectively for long time.

 

He/she has to other ways to remove these wax residue.

Other solutions include APC than a trim detailer

Or BlackWow.

Like any other type of dressings...works best and last longest if used on clean surface. Did you clean them down before dressing?

Try DG 271 Rubber and Flat Black Dressing. It seems to have some cleaning properties and leaves a nice natural satin sheen. It lasts months through rain and car washes without streaking or fading.
