from this webby:

http://www.auto-power-girl.com/cars-2007/f...s/fiat_500-1779

the specs are:

Developed by the Fiat Style Centre and manufactured in the plant in Tychy (Poland), the new 500 is a 3-door model with very compact measurements: it is 355 cm long, 165 cm wide, 149 cm tall and has a wheelbase of 230 cm, The car is extremely entertaining to drive, due to its three engines: a 75 bhp 1.3 16v Multijet turbodiesel unit and two petrol engines, the 69 bhp 1.2 8v and the 100 bhp 1.4 16v, all of which are available with five or six speed mechanical gearboxes.

right on !I'm sure TTS will bring in the 1.4 with 100italian horse model.

Just imagine the weight to power ratio plus the italian design. [thumbsup]

I doubt it will be anything higher than the similiar capacity japs/kor car.Just compare the OMV of the G.punto against the rest of the 1.4. TTS are pricing it at the japs/kor selling price instead of the normal 'conti' pricing.

again , look closely at the OMV and compare to the rest of the corps and remember , it's a italian engine with soul.

Neutral Newbie

other than the handling and engine tat is attractive and seductive, the omv, price, depreciation is kinda of putting it to a disadvantage for sggie market. see extract below:

http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onem...Cost_Update.pdf

i used dynamic 5dr to compare with my mazi sp. yes the omv is pretty high for a 1.4l, close to 2k more than mine and the AD margin is high too. A commoner perspective in buying a vehicle for point-to-point in comparing with a 1.6l, the 1.4l consider very high in price for a purchase.

unless we back to the 130% OMV rebate thingy, all these paper rebate will not help in purchasing decision.

this does not include the loan etc in paying so much for such a ride....BEST, if we back to the 80s era, without coe etc, the omv is going to help alot and i will not hesitate spend more for such ride (coz i noe i paying for enjoyment and not contributing extras like the papers bla bla) tongue.gif
