Exhaust tip of sebring exhaust system

Hi guys,

 

I m keen on changing my mazda3 exhaust system to the lta-friendly sebring one. However, I would like to know whether it will still be lta legal if i dont use their sebring tip on the system n weld on a titanium tip instead?

i tot weld on is ok too? cant ar? cos the tip itself doesnt affect any of the emission standards...

Actually a bit of welding is fine as long as the garage is capable of covering up the welding mark to make it less obvious. Fk's workmanship is one you can trust and rely on but we also have to adhere to the standards and guidelines laid by LTA so I would not say that welding is totally legal... There are still pending issues to be resolved and if you have further doubts, do PM me and I will try my best to assist you.

Hi Bro, i'm on the Sebring exhaust and it gets pretty loud as time goes by hence do take note of the chances of being stopped by TP/LTA officers on the road if welding of the exhaust tip is illegal
