Is Tuff Kote Dinol / System 6 really required?

Need your experience to advice on the above?

Would Tuff Kote Dinol help, assuming 10 yrs usage.

I don't think it's necessary. Most of the cars today can last till 10 years w/o rustproofing under normal conditions.

Don't really need Tuffkote. I don't fancy layering gunks on the underside of my car and weigh it down. New cars are pretty resistant to rusting. Just spray and keep underside clean.

 

As for System 6.... let's just say there're better options...

judging by the price of system 6, there are other better alternatives. i think system 6 is just an average product.

20 yrs ago rust is big time problem for cars. Today most owners keep their cars amx 5 yrs. So why bother??? If you plan to keep the car for 10 yrs then its a different matter. But if petrol hits $200/barrel or more (todays papers) then maybe want to keep car but cannot afford to
