Is there a VIP convention going on or am i just ignorant? I dont think i ever saw a special license plate like that. It's quite a looker tho.

I was driving so being the good law abidding citizen that i am, i resisted the attempt to take a picture. My handphone camera sucks too much anyway to get a decent shot. I spotted in on the CTE towards town around 5pm yesterday.

Here's an image i found on the internet;

I don't think the estate version is available in Singapore....the plot thickens? lol

OK. Someone had just proven that I'm half as ignorant as i think i am. Anyone else can prove the other half on the license plate? :D

Here u go.. I saw it in JB and I took a photo of it. I saw it once in Singapore too at Compasspoint...

The roadtax disc is proof that it's from U.K.

And the registration plate is R1FGC, not RIFGC

Neutral Newbie

If anyone is interested I own the Car R1FGC - Chrysler 300C Touring, with Startech Grill, bodypanels and 19inch wheels - 5.7 litre V8 Hemi, with S/S Magnaflow through Bore exhaust and chipped by Jet spark of California. Top speed is 300kmh, I've only acheived 265km before the road ran out - 0-100kmh is 4.9 seconds. It also has an international tracking device in case it's stolen. As far as I am aware I have only seen one other in Singapore a blue 3.0 litre V6, but the gealer in KL says there are none in Malaysia. There is supposed to be an SRT8 6.1 litre saloon in Singapore, but I've not seen it.

The car is a temporary import into Singapore for one year and must sadly leave by 15th April 2010. Have had some long conversations regarding the stay with the LTA and the AAS, but now have permission to keep it here until until then. The car will go back to the UK then, but I may probably bring it back into Malaysia and register it there. The plate is a private UK number that I bought in 1997 - R = 1997 - 1 is the number (available from 1 -999) and FGC are my initials Fred Geroge Crook.

Been fun driving around Singapore, but have had many incidents of bottoming in carparks and speed humps.

Anybody want more details or pics let me know [email protected]

Regards Fred

wow, thats pretty cool.

must be really expensive to temporary import it here for a whole one year, but also very fun especially if your a car enthusiast !

imagine the transit time back to uk would be long though.

...5.7 litre V8 Hemi, with S/S Magnaflow through Bore exhaust

A year ago, I swore I heard the sound of a big block Hemi behind me in the open-air carpark at Giant's Tampines branch once. Went to find out the car which caused it...?

Yep.

You!

Thanks to you I wasted my time at Chrysler Singapore asking if they offered the Hemi engines..

Also, I've heard some of my friends talking about a SRT8, but I'm willing to bet that its either a very good body kit job, or it does exist without the SRT8 badge... so no one knows about the monster under the hood.

I also saw it last week at AMK Hub. I was entering the carpark and this huge Chryler was infront of me, I was thinking how this UK register plate car allow to drive locally. But the sound from your engine and Exhaust was very good [thumbsup][thumbsup]
