Hi guys,

Need some advice, do you know if any tyre shops carrying Goodyear Assurance TripleTred series?

I am looking for 195/60/15. [;)]

If you have seen it or used it, kindly advise me the tyre shop name and contact.

Many thanks in advance. [;)]

Looks a lot like this cheap tyre I have currently. Now on 2nd set.

Very cheap and good at $130 each. Superb grip in both dry and wet.

Hi Darth Mel,

hmmm... i see a slight resemblance between them. Is the MA-Z1 sidewall stiff or soft?

Feel that the pricing for a MA-Z1 is kinda premium. [blush]

Sidewalls are quite stiff IMO but then I over-inflate them quite a bit. Car didn't flex too much when turning.

Drove to Cameron Highland, Penang and back with it. Very confident drive and reacts well to steering.

For tyres designed for drifting, they are a steal at the price. Only problem is that they are kinda noisy, but this is typical of tyres with such aggressive threads.

Contrary to belief, drift tyres are grippy. In fact, the grippier the better as it gives the driver more control [:p]

i believe it's about how the tire loses grip, right? whether it is progressive or etc etc..

That too, but I've noticed it varies due to driver preferences. The grip though does help a lot with angles and speed. I don't recall anyone using slicks, but AD07's were quite the rage amongst the semi-pro's who could afford them when I left melb

Yeah I love their grippiness. Tested them thoroughly up and down Cameron Highlands ! [thumbsup]

They aren't quiet.

Hrrmph... look like I'm stuck with Aspec dB's then. Been trying to get quiet tyres. The tyre noise can be quite bad on certain stretches of the NSH

i used db b4, stock tyres i think, i change them out before they even reach 50 %, i cannot stand the grip, really too poor, esp on raining days , maybe it had something to to with my driving style -.-

my family car, using comfort tyres, i had toyo teo plus on them now, instead of db , price slightly i think ? but noise level same, and grip was way way better.

I've never had any issue with them, and I'm a bit of a hoon. Been looking at the Teo Plus too, but i don't know where to get them, and even if I did know, i don't know if they have my size in sg (none in the uk, but they have it in my size in aust).
