Altezza just needs to be the JDM IS200 i think... cos last time Lexus wasn't marketed back in JDM land.... LS was the Celsior, IS was the Altezza, GS was the Aristo, ES was the Windom

the Hot Altezza was the RS200 with the Yamaha Beams engine

I rem all the altezza sold were manual; no?

and all IS200 were auto

if i rem correctly the taillights of the IS200 looked more "crytally"

There is slight diff btw IS200 & Altezza. Altezza comes in 2 engine, 4 pot & 6 pot.

6 pot is probably d last IL-6 from Toyota & inherited from Cressida lineage. Under Toyota, it is Altezza AS200. Under Lexus, it is IS200.

4 pot is the legendary. It proved that u don't need cam lifting technology to produce 100bhp/L. However, this is PURE JDM model.

Lastly, i won't look at any used Altezza. Most likely kena rxxxd until nothing left.

Altezza RS200 comes wif both AT & MT. AT is 10bhp lower.
