Is anyone using these 2 brands? How is it? They seems similar since from same parent company in Thailand.

Trane is cheap, can find 45Ah selling for $105.

Wish to know where to find these 2 brands at the cheapest price.

Tried Trane before about 10 years ago in my AE101. Drove all the way to Thailand and the batt was dead there. Had my batt replaced over there @ a very cheap price (less than BAHT1,000).

The batt is not bad. It lasted about 3.5 years (conventional battery).

I think you can get Trane from one of the sponsor here.

Any battery that allows you to do regular maintenence (top-up electrolyte) is good (can last years after years). Those maintenance-free batteries are unlikely to last more than two and a half year if you lucky.

go jaybee and buy.. widely available there. [;)]

My personal advise is not to go JB to have battery replace...

Price there is steep...!

Do consider to move further North..!

Air Hitam, Batu or further..! Pricing there is much more friendly n honest.

Was with friends in muar on mid July.

Replace a quality, Yuasa conventional type, 46AH, 13 plates @ RM 180.
