Hi guys,

just want to get your feedback on the car tracking system?

I am travelling to Malaysia, and the thought of my car being stolen scared the hell out of me. it's a new sports car.

Any other alternatives?

GPS systems allow you to track a car if it is stolen. How about considering a vehicle anti theft immobilizer. It keeps the vehicle from being stolen in the first place. It can be installed and has no ongoing monthly costs like you would have with a GPS tracking system. There are a lot of systems on the market. Expensive newer vehicles have a factory installed product. They tend to be hooked up to the ignition and are electronic. The electronic system works in conjuction with the PCM/ECM computer under the hood. Unfortunately professional thieves know how to bypass these systems. Best in class vehicle immobilization systems use a 3 circuit immobilization setup and are very reliable.

So in answer to your question, car tracking is a good option but their is a better less expensive option called immobilization. Go to the website below for more information .

Definitely the answer! :) You wouldn't want to risk your car right?

Don't waste time and $ on this useless crap. In Europe, their tracker is much effective than what we have here. Our support in sg isn't ready for mass market.

A good device to consider given that cars nowadays are costly!

But again, what is e price for having this on before really considering installing this on.

car tracking equipment uses GPS to find position of car and then uses GSM network to send the position data to a central database

if you are travelling out of country often, you will be hit with $$$$ data charges
