A son has decided to tape his mother as he takes her on a ride on his brand new 1250WHP Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo by Underground Racing.

The result is really funny. She can't really handle the speed and freaks out.

Hahaha, reminds me a bit of the time I fetched my mum and two of my aunts to dinner in a rented WRX. Drove in a very gentle decent manner the whole time, till near the end of the journey when I filtered into the expressway from a nearly stationary speed. Didn't even go fast, didn't even hit 100km/h, but simply dragging the first two gears and feeling the boost suddenly coming on was enough to constitute a new experience for them. [laugh] They enjoyed it though

i know what you mean. When my wife and sons are with me, i drove quite slow. But one day we were in a hurry, similar to your situation, i floored the throttle coming out from the slip road into the expressway............ the teenage sons at the back seat screamed (with joy and excitement), wife also screamed next to me but in protest!!! ............ then she shouted "Stop it, stop it"......... :D:D:D this was the few rare chances they could feel what 0-100 in 5 sec really means :D:D

Hahaha! What car is that? Evo 9 if I remember correctly?

It seems that it is human nature to enjoy giving passengers a little shock when you drive a car like that [laugh] Well as long as its a short burst just up to around the speed limit and not doing anything dangerous it's fine

yes Karter and bicolor, agreed that everyone must have a feeling of what is the "normal" 11seconds 0-100, versus a 5seconds 0-100, all these see on paper no actual gauge or concept of what it means [laugh]

Had the chance to sit in a bug-eye wrx before, when the boost comes in, 4-5k rpm, my neck cannot even lift my head off the seat headrest, pinned man, the feeling on the chest is more exciting than going nightclub and standing next to the subwoofer, i still remember it, and would definitely want to have a go again if got chance [:)]

you're right, short burst up to the 90-100 kmh, still legal :D:D

ya, the old e9 still keeping me happy.... hope to hold on to it till end of COE... [:)] personally with it i hardly 'lust' for other cars so unlikely to change car........ simple taste which excludes other human comforts and brandnames etc really help me stop my $$$ from going for another car to replace it.

ha ha, you really got it 'right' :D:D

actually, using a 0-100 11 sec car flat out in bends or corners will give us the same thrills also (in terms of G-force) but it will be 'dangerous' coz its not in a simple straight line.... unless you really know the corners well and no other cars is around...

the reverse is also quite thrilling: whenever i have to run-in new brake pads in a hurry, I do hard (meaning E-braking) from 120 till ABS kicks in... really hard and the smells from the brakes could fill the interior of the car (windows open)........... the hard braking 120-5 has to be repeated about 6-8 times in one session.... (sorry for the trivials) :o

0-100km/h 3.5 secs on a bike is wayyy more fun though. I almost broke my neck. [:)]
