True but for a fraction of the price, the GTR isnt doing too bad for himself. We're talking about half the displacement and 20% of the cost...

 

Anyway this is a nice video of how much mods can do to a factory car and how deep some people's pocket are.

Not sure how much mod has put into the R but if you do the same to to the Lamb, i am sure after the fisrt 100m, the Lamb will start pulling away.

Probably still cost less than 40% of what the Lambo cost.

 

But yes the overtaking speed over 200kph is impressive.

End of the day, its what you want from the car. You can mod a gti to eat up a porsche anytime but can the gti last due to faster wear and tear.

yep... a flame when forced to burn brighter, burns out faster. Not surprisingly car companies "hint" that their cars are better with some tweaking, but refuse to release them stock-tweaked as a short lifespan without "non-recommended mods" will open them to lawsuits. Most of the modding community actually quietly receive backing from the manufacturers.
