Hi all:

I am currently looking to purchase a Honda Odyssey Absolute (KAH)('07). May I know any comment of this car ? Is the car underpower with 160 PS ? Any problematic thing to take note? Any accesories I should install to make car more drivable?

Im driving a 07 ody absolute, overall its a good car. downside is the fuel consumption, might be abit on the high side i think, avg around 8km/l. As for performance, its quite slow on the 0-100km, clock around 10.2s on stock, but the mid to high is quite good, this car can easily hit 220 km/hr . If u into performance, y not u consider the JDm absolute with 200hp?

But overall its a decent ride.

What I heard of is the fuel consumption is rather poor, otherwise, it is a great car mover for 7 person. The power should be sufficient as a 2.4l. [:)]

Power confirm sufficient since it is a 2.4L engine. FC poor? Thought honda cars FC should be allright?!

I am not sure about this, this feedback came from my BIL whom is driving one now. His FL about 7-8km/l constant city drive 70%. <_<

Previous drove the '10 version, but Odyssey has always been on of the better MPV to drive. You will feel as if driving you are driving a sedan rather than a MPV.

From stand still not much pick up power but still can keep up with traffic.. but the car is design to cruise. Start stop traffic FC will be high. But on cruising.. I get before 14km/l. 100-160km/h.. no issue.

Comfort wise, Honda cars are always tune towards a harder suspension, but the '10 version was very comfortable. Third row only issue is head room.. but have 3 zone aircon and aircon vent even for the third row.

So Any problematic thing to take note and accesrories to install

Not sure about the 07 version. For me.. my '10 ODC.. I did up a active ICE.. and just enjoy the ride. ONly had it for 1 1/2 yrs.. so far trouble free, sold of time clocked around near to 40K km... only problem was battery flat.. and that is due to my daughter itchy hand on the rear cabin lights.. and we forgot to check and when on a 5 day holiday..

I believe Honda Odyssey Absolute come with built-in audio hence might be a problem to go ICE

As far as I know all Honda Odyssey comes with a third party 2 din Audio system.

So for the Honda Odyssey Absolute (facelift model with different tail lamp) - how do I play DVD on the roof DVD player? Is it the disc is inserted in the roof DVD player direct and the audio is switch by switching to AUX in the factory audio?
