why not go to pml for a test drive?

i drove the bmw BMW ActiveHybrid 5.....they have sport mode and sport mode +

when i stepped on the accelerator....then i said now thats what i am talking about in sport mode..... [laugh]

but yeah....the vehicle is quiet in comfort mode....i almost thought the engine stalled or not running since i drive a manual.....

but yeah alot of technology in the active hybrid 5.....about 400k plus thereabouts.....

honestly i still prefer the roar of the jaguar....abit too quiet for my liking and the passenger can sleep......

so the sales person has called me to ask if there was any other model suitable for my budget....

but yea took me about 2 seconds to get back into driving auto mode.....its a very luxurious vehicle.....but somehow still like small vehicles......

or if were to choose jaguar to bmw.....will take jaguar.....due to the engine roar......

AFAIK, cannot remap yet. Can install tuning box though. Can easily get 190+hp.

Brutally honest, if you need to worry about fc, a bmw is really not for you. No, bmw is much cheaper to maintain than many think, but if you have to worry about whether 1L can do 7km or 12km, then you might want to rethink about buying a car at this price. Typical issues are standard bmw problems loh, rattle, wind noise, jerky gearbox etc...then again, sometime is heng suay. I mean even lexus also can have problem with loose seat mounting making noise...

You should be able to get some discount from list price. Depends on stock availability, what they trying to clear and whether SE need to meet sale quota or not. PM me if you need a good SE. Some pml se are quite bad after you pay up...

BTW, Ithunk, AH5 is way less than 400k. 400k can buy 550i liao. Deposit on the price list is not accurate. My SE only asked for 10k for coe transfer. Downpayment was paid much later.

i have to agree with u about the FC part. the bimmer is always hungry to rev and go. i tried very hard to keep it tamed... trust me, going at 70km/h in kpe is a torture [laugh] [laugh]

no power, engine note sucks, rough, cramp.

verdict - crap. Shortest test drive ever. I can't wait to get out of the car. out from pml , U turn, I u turn back liao cos I cannot take it.

If it not becos of the badge , I think the car will not sell at all (at this price)

Wait for the A class. if not , C also can .
