First few of these babies up for sale.

Pricing is out of whack though. I'll be better off buying the brand new one which is about $300K.

Is it wise to buy such a young used car?

I would assume one of two things

a) Car got a problem

b) The owner made a mistake in buying it

Which do you think is more likely?

I chose b)

it's Porsche, and got 5 years warranty, don't think got problem,

anyway if the person don't have too much free $$, would not buy this kind of SUV, [:p]

That 2.0L inline 4 turbo most likely put the owners off. It's not a Porsche engine but a VW engine. LoL...

yeah, Porsche engine should be boxer engine

but doesn't matter, as long as it's not VW clutch... :D

You need to try going into Stuttguard Auto and try buying a brand new Porsche to understand why people are willing to buy it off the 2nd hand market when it is so new. Some are even willing to pay a slight premium to get the "2nd hand" car.

Basically the wait time is minimum 6 months, they also do not sell packaged with COE, the price of the car quoted is excluding COE and you pay whatever the price is at the point they help you bid.

They will indicate an estimate of arrival of car but will not give you any confirmation until it is on the shores of Singapore and has cleared regulatory approvals.

If I wanted to buy 1 and it is already available as a new old car without me having to wait 6 months and I still enjoy the 5 year full warranty, then it is thrown in with the options and color I prefer with a slight discount... Why not?

Last I checked, which is about 1 month ago, they have a few ready stock.

If the colour or option I want is not a ready stock, then the wait time is between 4 to 6 months.

Those "ready stocks" were also bought by others who forgo deposit cause when it arrived they did not want to take delivery. So you need to get your COE.

Since you went to check, it also means you are interested to buy. If the ready stocks have what you want, why not pick a unit up? :)
