It should be in the showroom on Saturday. The SE sent an sms invite for a test drive.

Went there last Wednesday intending to look at the Outlander but all sold out...

Tested this earlier. Drive was decent n lots of space. Interior is quite bland if u ask me. Price tag of 143k is value for money for a 2.4l suv. One more thing... It still doesn't have electric folding mirrors!!! That's a bummer!!!

still 2.4 NA, far behind other rivals, :a-noway:

1.6T can produce same or even higher PS and N.m :a-happy:

Yeah... looks like they've favored reliability over performance judging from their 10yrs engine warranty.

For a car of this size and our parking environment, not sure why they didn't include this feature.

What is the net price after discount? There is already 1 review on the new outlander and the promo price is 119k ($139K - 20k discount during offer period).

I rented this car in Melbourne for a week... It is a very spacious car that is incredibly easy to drive. But it was very easily affected by crosswinds on the freeways as I had to constantly correct the vehicle's line. Performance is just decent, and road noise was very intrusive. But for so much car for so much lesser money than the competition, this is really good value for money.

it is this kind of 'promo' price just before COE bidding which may drive up interest, and indirectly conribute to COE rush...

but i wonder if all those who booked at 'promo' prices will get....i think invariably the AD will say..."sorry COE went up, so must top up to secure COE"...
