[it's OFFICIAL] Arma arrived in Singapore!

I am very fortunate and delightful that I can spend my afternoon today at Fong Kim, who is currently one of the dealer in Singapore who is carrying a brand new CAI (Cold Air Intake) from Arma Speed.

ARMA has more than 25 years experience in the carbon fibre industry, and now are considering one of the leaders in carbon fibre air intake.

ARMA Hyper Flow Carbon Fiber Air Intake System and brake kit are just like sword. The Hyper Flow Carbon Fiber Air Intake System can give your car more energy to attack; car enthusiasts can enjoy an instant performance upgrade only by upgrading to Arma Hyper Flow Carbon Air Filter.

After chatting with Li Hwa, a representative from Arma Speed. She has mentioned that the uniqueness of the Hyper Flow Carbon Fiber Air Intake System is a complete upgrade of your air intake system. Usually, when you upgrade your air intake, the main focus is always the airbox or the cold air intake compartment.

Metal is a tremendous conductor of heat, and all the cold air's goodness will be lost when drawn to the pipe!

Is this a real carbon box that houses an open pod, or just a carbon fiber cover on top with nothing underneath?

Hi bro. for the CAI, it is a full carbon fibre housing for the system. the box, cover and piping. the filtration material you need to check which car. what i understand is that the newer car models get the sponge filtration however for the older models, they are going for the cone filter.

The air will still be heated up by the throttle body. On a cold start warm coolant will run thru the throttle body to warm it up. Once the engine is at running temperature the entire engine bay and throttle body will be hot anyway. Whatever cold air intake you put the air will eventually reach the throttle body and get heated up.

I hope people here are smart and realise that taiwanese products have pretty crappy support and are very hard to sell second hand to someone else when they no longer need it. Arma mentions they moved from super chargers to air filters. The reason for this is because they were f**king unsuccessful in developing a supercharger that could work decently on the BMW engine. The owners of Arma supercharges would always run into some funny issue with getting the car to run correctly. Power gains from their crappy superchargers were very short lived.

Taiwanese products usually don't fit nicely and often require some modification. For drop in air filters, you can easily get K&N air filters. Why would I wanna get a taiwanese product when i can get an american product for around the same price?

Getting a taiwanese performance part for your car? Dream on. They suck. Just like Bor Chuan Racing also known as BC Racing. Their coilovers ride super stiff and do not provide proper damping.

D1 Spec brakes are a joke as well. While they provide decent stopping power, their brake pads are super expensive and not worth the money. You're better off getting Brembos instead.

The one thing I don't mind being taiwanese, is the girl i'm banging. Hahaha. They're pretty wild.
