Any advise on Pirelli 15' P6000 Powergy Tyre + Light weighted Taiwan rims ? Trading in my Optra 15' sport Stock rim $200. Topping up $750. Thinking of Oning it at Autobacc Ubi.

Howdy! [wave]

When you finally make the plunge to swap the rims, can you make a comparison between the weight of the stock sports rims and the eventual rims you'll be using (without tyre)? What I did last time was I literally brought my weighing machine down to the shop to compare [scholar]

Reason being I got conned by these tyre shops before who claims their rims are light but end up being much heavier than my own rims. [mad] Result is car became more sluggish, FC went up, etc. [blush]

Don't want you to make the same mistake [;)] When you going to change the rims and where?

this tire long time never see , since year 2000 correct me if I am wrong

Yeah I think it’s no longer in production. I am asking because a shop quoted me $195 for the P6000, packaged with the wheels I purchase from them. Produced in 2015. I am okie with the age of the tyre, just trying to find user reviews.

Depends how they store the tire.. In good conditions (ie dark and cool) tires can last for 5 years plus, in poor conditions they can degrade after a year or 2..

Thanks for the advise. Hopefully the shop stores them properly
