Features & specs

The wide longitudinal and lateral tread grooves provides excellent protection against aquaplaning. The offset tread blocks and wide centre grooves ensure quiet running and rapid steering response. Thanks to the numerous sipes the tire is ideal for use on roads and light terrain.

The 4x4 Contact features a silica-enhanced all-season tread compound that helps improve cold weather traction. This compound is molded into a symmetric tread design that provides for the ability to rotate tires to maximize tread life. The tread pattern is also computer-optimized to reduce noise and heavily siped to provide the additional biting edges necessary to enhance traction in light snow. The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts combined with a spirally wound jointless nylon reinforcement to blend high-speed durability with ride uniformity.

Good tyres for the offroaders.

These tyres were already installed on my ride upon purchase. These tyres were good on normal roads, but better on offroad tracks. Having a 4-wheel drive vehicle, these tyres made driving easier and much less of a hassle. Since most of us here drive on normal roads, these tyres provides enough grip and traction, but I wouldn't really recommend it since its wear and tear rate is quite fast. They also don't cost all too cheap. But for its offroad use, let's say for most who visit or own properties on offroads at Malaysia, these will be great, since it gives a really comfortable ride on the bumpy tracks.

Decent tyres that don't last very long

I tried these tyres out and while I was satisfied with the quietness, ride comfort and generally good dry and wet performance, I was completely let down by the horrible wear on them. Barely got 30k km on these tyres and they've gone bald already. Also, DO NOT use these tyres for any form of off-road or any contact with mud. I tried it once. Once. It's that bad. But overall this tyre is quite ok, but it's main problem is that it just doesn't last.
