The Classic XS MkII IC is a startling design that incorporates the enlarged 0.75 mm² BRC conductors and the advanced CAFPE/SASDB insulation/binding combination. The major evolutionary leap was achieved through the implementation of the X-Shield - our patented Multi-Element Shielding System. The higher definition is a consequence of efficient noise reduction. X-Shield ensures EMI suppression across a wide frequency range - from ELF to SHF, drastically reduces the negative influence of multiple external interferences on the actual audio signal path and further boosts the overall mechanical and damping capabilities. The jacket executed of a Russian-made low-loss SPVC provides excellent mechanical strength and efficient absorption of acoustic noise and vibrational loads. With a more extended and linear frequency response, the Classic XS MkII IC became our most technically refined, perfectly balanced and sonically neutral interconnect for the asking price. It performs amazingly dynamic and at the same time delicate, with all the instruments precisely textured. Images are solid and present, life-sized and appropriately contained in a coherent deeply extended and perfectly layered soundstage.

Based on the Classic Interconnect Cables, the XS series is a real upgrade featuring a stronger conductor as well as the outstanding technology of "X-Shielding" which achieves even higher noise protection and an improved tonal balance. The accuracy of the sound signal transmission is exceptional.
As other family members of Classic XS series, Classic XS Interconnect Cables are used for high end audio systems. Fixed with a wave impedance of 110 Ohm, these cables can be used both for analog and digital applications. The series also offers a digital version which can be used for professional applications and also as microphone cables. Classic XS Interconnect Cables are available only in terminated lengths for audio in RCA and XLR (Classic XS IC RCA and CLASSIC XS IC XLR) as well as in terminated lengths for digital AES/EBU audio (Classic XS IC AES/EBU).
