The BlackVue DR470-2CH is the mid-range 2-channel dashcam system from Blackvue. It offers a simple and sleek design with a minimalist interface. It's an ideal choice for a set it and forget it solution as there are no buttons or WiFi app to interact with. The matte black finish is not only discreet but quite fingerprint resistant as well. Fleet managers will find the addition of a lockable memory card flap helpful as it can help prevent tampering of the device on the part of the driver.

The DR470-2CH offers Full HD front recording and 720P HD rear recording, similar to its bigger brother, the BlackVue DR650S-2CH WiFi Cloud. However, the DR470 does not have a Sony EXMOR CMOS sensor, so those looking for better video quality might want to consider the flagship 2-channel. The rear camera would be comparable to the DR650S-2CH. The DR470-2CH is however capable of recording at 10Mb/s (Front) and 5Mb/s (Rear) which is above average in this price range. The optional GPS accessory will allow speed display and location tagging which is recommended for fleet use.
