Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. With a titanium construction, not only is it lighter than the standard Hi-Power exhaust, the sound is more throaty as well.

Perfect acoustics.

Fitted this on my ride, and definitely am satisfied with what this exhaust has to offer. While idling, it gives a soft, mid-note bass, quietly waiting. While on the move, it is quite loud, having a lower bass. Perfect for those looking for an exhaust that has perfect acoustics for nice-sounding exhaust enthusiasts. Soft enough to not attract the cops, loud enough to give you awesome rides. Performance wise, there are noticeable upgrades in pickup and engine response. In short, this HKS HKS Hi-Power Ti is for those who still want a quiet muffler but want others to know it's not stock. The Hi-Power fits the bill perfectly. Fitment is good and it's rattle free.

Worth the money!

My only interest out of the exhaust was the sound. I have watched numerous YouTube videos, and I liked how it gives the low bass sound. I assumed it'd be much more awesome-sounding on my Mitsubishi Evo 9. Then, I took my car to a muffler shop. I asked the mechanic to take off both the resonator and the muffler so it is straight from the catalyst. There was a plenty of space to insert where the resonator used to be. The large 120mm tip nicely fitted on the cutout on the rear bumper. The sound was more than I expected. What can I say... I just love it. This gave me a strong internal resonance. It feels like I have a surround speaker all around my car. The internal resonance becomes the strongest at 2,000rpm. This is exactly where the engine stays at when I maintain the speed on the road. Even at 60 or 70 mph, it's still a deep sound rather than a high-pitch sound. Overall, I totally recommend this item. It's worth paying the money!
