How to CLEAN the interior roof material from carbon soot?

i've tried using water to clean but it spreads to a larger area.

 

in case u guys are lost bout what i said.. it's the carbons (driving with window wound down) deposited along the interior of the car's cabin roof side near the window...

 

i dunno what i'm talking.. but hope someone understand..

I heard that there is this thing called steam cleaning for car interiors.

u need to use some detergent as well

naturally the black spot will spread ,

wipe it a few times with some detergent and = as good as new

autoglym got interior cleaner. white bottle with green colour wordings. it works quite ok.

Is there any way to remove a cig burnt mark for the car interior celing instaed of changing the whole entire interior? The interior celing is grey clothing..

i think for cig burnt mark, the material itself should be slightly burnt off right? I am not sure whether the cleaner will be of use.

Th fabric cleaner are on the way..for rubber lining..I have #253 for rubber lining..

Well I think they do interior cleaning on the fabric seats, which means they should be able to clean your interior roof I guess...
