Side mirror problem for toyota picnic

Hi I recently got a 2nd hand Toyota picnic but however the side mirror has a lot of scratch mark.

 

I went to a local Toyota spare part and bought the mirror (glass only) to try to replace it.

 

However it cant fit in, the shape is the same but the clip behind is slightly different.

 

According to my workshop, it seem like the previous owner might have replace it with an parallel import side mirror instead of the original mirror.

 

is there anyway I can know what kind of side mirror is compatible with Picnic ?

 

where can I get suitable mirror to replace the mirror glass?

 

The swirl mark make driving in the night terrible.

 

please help.

please help.

If you don't mind a dyi job, remove the clip of your new mirror and use double sides tape to paste on your existing mirror.

Or remove both clips and see whether it is interchangeable.
