New Kia Niro Hybrid

If we take guidance from UK, the Hyundai Ioniq starts at £19k+ while the Kia Niro starts at £21k+.

Implies Niro should be priced around $120k if Ioniq is $111k, if pricing differential is similar.

i prefer sportage design to this, although can make do w it. hybrid pricing can't b on par w vezel / qashqai 1.2, maybe qashqai 2.0, but who knows..

front bumper foggies n drl can be designed better imho..

Isn't the warranty meant for this? Question now is how many times will they change the battery in 10 years.

BM will  only change once for their 10 year warranty after the 5th year

They can give u 10 years battery warranty.
But the battery capacity will keep dropping with time. Esp under Singapore heat

Saw the car at car show. Quite a nice package at 109,999 car show price.

Car is lower than most suvs as it has 16" wheels.

Overall, reasonably impressed. Now is to test drive then can decide

Not sure abt Niro

KIA Singapore website brochures indicate Niro's battery comes with a 10-year warranty but whether unlimited or not, I am not sure.

Test drive both the Niro and the Ioniq and report back, please !

I prefer the design of the Niro, but may be partial to the Ioniq because it has the complete complement of driver aids (ie blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, SMART CRUISE, automatic emergency braking).

Pretty cool - and it's going for $113k, so just $4k more.

Is the rear legroom very cramp?

As a matter of fact. Its impressive.

Specs is good with lots of high end car feature. Im 1.8m and with front seat at my driving postion, i go nearly 2 fist leg room.

Display is also futuristic. Only letdown is the crap HU.

its not unlimited. 200k km only.

But then, should be same battery as ioniq.

So, hope it last

What is the omv and rebate?

At this price of $109K, don't need to think about OMV and rebate... sure can get the car one... it's being launched... you can be sure C&C will aggressively bid for this car to get one batch on the road just to drive sales and create awareness of this car...
