Anyone heard of Texas Engine Oil?

I heard from a friend that he sent his car for service and then they top Texas Engine Oil. Never heard before leh. Anyone knows?

My regular go to bike shop carries this brand of engine oil. I've not used it before but for friends who did, no issues so far.

It's just a name.

Anyone can call themselves: California Engine Oil or American Engine Oil, etc.

Sounds better, sells better.

Is made in Singapore so shameful that the manufacturer has to use an American name to sell the oil??

Made in Singapore product.

 

I heard from a friend said this product is mainly target at high end car.

They are a blender.

 

They take base oil from big oil companies, additives from other companies, and so on.

Blend the oil for specific applications. Get it certified, blah..blah..blah.

I won't say they're good or bad. If they followed what their website says about quality, then you should get reasonably good qualified oil that will work for your car.
