Why car auxiliary battery is necessary?
In driving mode, dash cam can be powered with car main battery without any trouble. However in parking mode, connecting dash cam to main battery can cause its discharge which leads to rapid reduction of life cycle of the battery. Thus, a smart auxiliary battery such as Carecell is necessary.
When a dash cam is used with a car battery for permanent recording, performance of battery can be reduced over 30%. Lowered performance of car main battery is not recoverable.
