EQP no auto park?
EQP does not come with park assist, but it can be retrofitted.

Side assist as in blind spot indicator? Looks like u are the 2nd one I know here who got it as option. One of them was from our chat group.
Yes, it is blind spot indicator on the 2 wing mirrors with 2 radars on each side of the rear bumper.
The item code is 7Y1-Lane change assistance, side assist and rear traffic alert.
This is the only option for EQP. The factory front/rear park sensor and park assist are not available as option.

I chose the EQP not only because of the headlights, bit also because of sunroof and most importantly, the city emergency braking system which is an important safety feature. Helps alot in situations such as to stop the car from collision when front vehicle suddenly stops or someone/vehicle suddenly dash across infront. It "reinforces" the braking power should the system thinks your braking speed is not enough, and also assist to brake should u have not enough reaction time to step on the brake.
I chose EQP for the same reason to have the front assist and also added the side assist option @$1.7k. Apparently, the options for SG market is limited. Led taillight is not available as option.

Hi all, I am still consider of getting touran comfortline.
Anyone bro can share if the 7K different is worth for upgrade to EQP?
Possible to change the headlight to LED?
Thanks in advance.
You can ask VCS on the option price list and indent trend line with led headlight. The EQP or equipment package comes with drive profile, led headlight, KESSY and front assist @$6.5k. Fog light is $600. All factory installed and need to indent. Min wait for car is 4-6months. Pano roof is the most costly item if added to trend line. About $4k.
Hope this helps.

Welcome!
I installed it at $150. Works very well. Helps alot with keeping the car cooler.
One of my worry is the heat from the roof. The other is the fear of it shutter on impact. Do you know the material of the sunroof? My SA said it is laminated glass, but in the US there are reports of increase sunroof glass breakage mainly because the size of sun roof are bigger now.

Booked a Touran. Is it recommended to install the solar film on the sunroof?

This car is not coming to Singapore anymore bcos of the new E6 criteria for emissions
It is a matter of the discount or surcharge from VES as determined by the local emission test result.

This is an EV with generator and not range extender. The 1.8kW battery cannot charge via wall socket and full electric mode takes you about 2 km on battery alone.
Do u know how much is the e note?
Hope this helps.

This is the same setup as the Nissan Note e-power on sale through hevshop.com.
Nissan Serena e-power has slightly bigger battery and 320Nm of torque.
The 1.2L engine only acts as a generator to charge the battery and does not drive the wheels.
Nissan calls this e-power. It can be called a series hybrid or petrol generator electric car.

2018 Nissan Serena e-POWER
Nissan New Serena e-POWER TransmissionThe new Serena e-POWER does not have a transmission. It is 100% electric motor drive, and smooth acceleration starts from the moment you step on the pedal. In addition, the new Serena e-POWER is equipped with "e-POWER Drive" which can control the acceleration / deceleration at will by operation only with the accelerator pedal, and it is greatly helping to reduce the burden on the driver.Source: http://car-moby.jp

C27 prefect score for autonomous braking for both car and pedestrian tested by JNCAP.

Location: 18B Circuit Road - Macpherson Residency
Date/Time: 16 January 2017 ~3.10pm to ~4.10pm
GVGT - My id was trapped in the now famous Sigma lift used by HDB for about an hour on 16 January. Just to share the experience. He called the hotline and the service person arrived half an hour later. It took about another half to get the door opened.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1otifqAJ0xQ
GPGT - The lift was not in the proper level and he had to climb out after the door was opened by the service person. Not sure it is safe for women and children or even anyone.
It is a concern for women with young children in a new public housing estate. My wife is very concern.
IMO - The lifts appear to be poor in quality. The problematic lifts need to be replaced to restore the confident in the lift reliability for public housing.

I think they bring out this concept is to exploit some countries' vehicular tax system. If buyers register the car as an electric car they may not even have to pay road tax.
In Singapore, road tax is still needed as this is a petrol-electric car. It's electric motor is rated at 80kW and therefore road tax here is likely be around $370.
The torque is really impressive at 254Nm. Equivalent to a 2.5l NA petrol engine.
CO2 emission is at 68g/km therefore if the car is here, there is a $30k rebate. It may not enjoy the full rebate as the OMV for the highest spec is unlikely to be above $30k.
Japan list price for the highest spec is 2.244 million yen, it is about $29k OMV + 20% custom duty + $5k ARF + $53k COE + Dealer premium $15k = $108k
Fuel tank 41L x 34km/l = Manufacturer claim range 1394km
Will it be a good buy at $108k?

Nissan's e-Power: Brutal G-Forces In A Mini MPVBertel Schmitt , CONTRIBUTORI have written about the auto industry all my life.“It’s totally different from a conventional hybrid” said Nissan Co-CEO Hiroto Saikawa this morning in Yokohama, when he showed the new e-powered Nissan Note.In a regular hybrid, the internal combustion engine still sets the wheels in motion as we have been used to for more than 100 years. The ICE is supported by an electrical motor, which draws its power from a battery. During braking, the electric motor turns into a generator, which charges the battery. The regenerated energy is the secret behind the hybrid’s great mileage. In an e-powered car, the ICE no longer is tied to the wheels. The motor works as a generator, and charges a battery. The battery powers an electrical engine, which now finally can set things in motion. With that setup, the ICE can work at the revs most suited for low consumption. In case that’s reminding you of how the Chevrolet Volt works, then you are right. What’s so totally different then?A hybrid used to require a lot of space in the cars, and a lot of money from the customer. Nissan shrunk the hybrid to the size of a regular engine, and it fits in the engine compartment of the Nissan Note, a Mini-MPV. Its battery is one twentieth the size of that of a Nissan LEAF, and it fits below the front seats without eating into the ample legroom of the rear passengers. So what? The answer will be provided at a testdrive. When I took an e-powered Note on a quick spin through Yokohama this afternoon, a torquey 187.3 foot lbs electric motor delivered face-flattening-forces in tune of what is demanded in the ludicrous mode scene. The aggressively regenerating brake takes a little bit of getting used to. In the Note, we now brake with the accelerator. Take your foot off the gas, and it feels as if you slammed the brakes. If you don’t want to alarm your passengers, you will quickly learn to work the pedal with the tender touch of a piano player in a Chopin recital. With a little practice, the disk brakes will remain unused, and the mileage will soar.Speaking of mileage, the stated 2.7 liter for 100 km according to the very optimistic Japanese standard would translate to 87.4 mpg U.S. if it could be easily converted, which it can’t. Nissan doesn’t have U.S. numbers, because the Note will be sold in the Japanese market only for the time being. “We’ll see how it is doing at home, then we’ll decide about going abroad,” Nissan spokesman Nick Maxfield told me today. The Note lists in Japan at 1,772,289 Yen [$17,155], proof that hybrid no longer equals expensive. Nissan seems to have a lot of trust in its pricing power: Customers will cross-shop the car with the Toyota Aqua, better known Stateside as the Prius C. The Aqua is similarly priced, and it is on place 2 of Japan’s salesparade. Bigger brother Prius takes #1.

I see, doubt SG will sell them..
we still kinda rely on petrol/diesel
This is currently in Japan market only. Maybe PI can bring it in.

looks cool and spacious..
impressive fuel consumption..
this e-power is like hybrid?
Nissan calls it series hybrid. The wheels are powered by electric motor. There is no transmission gearbox on the car. Engine is only for electric power generation.
