  1. 1. Technically possible but you need to add a light sensor and the right-hand stalk needs to be changed to have this added auto headlight function.

    2. Technically not possible to change the language as all Honda Shuttles are females born in Japan and they only speak Japanese.

Traditionally, we have been reliant on Msia for supply of fresh chickens and it had worked so far - just truck them in and pay a resonable price.

The export ban on 1 Jun 2022 was unthinkable, I guess.

In the past few days I have been wondering if there are any poultry farming in Sg and if not why.

Poultry farming is to my view the simplest as compared to pig, cattle, fish farming.

Poultry farming does not need alot of space. Vertical high rise poultry farming is a small way to go?

Today there is news that 9 blocks of HDB in Woodlands would be acquired for expansion of the border crossing complex - hmmm, there is land to spare in SG , if the need is deemed important.

I just viewed this video...... chickens can be ready in about 45 days and what they do in the video seems doable in a high rise setting.

CCK residents like to complain about chicken shit smell from the chicken farms.

To be fair, we are and always have been a melting pot of cultures.  That is actuall our advantage in being a global city.  So i wasnt talking about that culture per se.

the point and focus here is that for Singaporeans who contributed and are now old and retired, should have their place in their home country Singapore such that the stories and heritage may not be lost in our quest to advance and grow economically.

imagine a country where a large population of its seniors are living and retired overseas.  That would be quite sad.

its quite endearing and meaningful for young people to talk to old people of a much earlier generation.   Much can be learned and values can be transferred along with traditions and culture.

It is actually more exciting rather than sad 😄

The strong exchange rate to buy lots of good food that are fresh from the farms, staying in a large landed house with a garden and ability to drive to more places to enjoy nice scenery are things that most can never achieve while retiring in Singapore.

I think it will be an upgrade in lifestyle 😇

Many countries such as Singapore are already experiencing 4%+ inflation without the QE that US utilised in 2020-2021.

Much of this is due to supply-side inflation.

I doubt the US is able to control its inflation back to 2-3% next year with its interest rate hikes to neutral rate.

Its sad for Singaporeans to leave becos its too expensive to retire.  What would be the culture of our future society? How will the fabric of society be weaved without the true blue Singaporean?

Singapore since 2000s is about 50% foreigners.  The culture of true blue Singaporean is already long gone.

Going forward, Singapore will remain an economic powerhouse with GDP growth as #1 objective.

  6. 2022 looks like a super inflation year to me. 2023 may continue the trend.  It is a bit risky to retire.

Many retirees in Singapore on subsistence level of CPF payout are going to get caught badly.

The food producing countries' ban on exports is going squeeze Singapore residents hard.

everyone’s portfolio also jiak sai now.
probably only us in SG slightly better since STI not doing that badly YTD

Interest rate hikes have just increased slightly here only.

Eventually, the slower growth will bite in next quarter.

    Singapore is a price-taker.
