Thanks for the comments!
To clarify, I was referring to the lust inducing factor - which can be a mixture of factors such as gorgeous looks, spanking performance or hot handling :)
Btw, anyone spotted an affordable car that made you go gaga recently?

Hmm... seems like this article is attracting lots of flak. Didn't expect so many comments. I guess many are mistaken about
To clarify - the article was meant as a satire of the way practical drivers like to list their so-called logical reasons why they bought their uncle-mobile instead of the car they really wanted. Or the way they like to point out the so-called reasons not to buy a fast car. So, the reasons are meant to be farcical and not supposed to make sense!
@Viceroymenthol - your comments are noted; with more practice comes better satirical skill, so I will be working on it. Hopefully, they get more light-hearted in future.

@Fourwheels: The effective interest rate you would be paying for the flat loan you mentioned would be 4.44%. You will also be paying 1,480 per month as opposed to 1,433 under the declining basis, a 3% difference a month!
Time for some homegrown automotive parts?

1. I meant restriction on installation and use of such aftermarket parts. If LTA could allow for pre-approved local parts (i.e. approved and tested during design phase) or a simplified approval process for local parts it would go a long way. Imagine an LTA friendly exhaust bought and installed with no further fuss or trouble. I am sure it would lower costs and boost demand.
2. Unique conditions are whatever conditions that LTA uses to justify our draconian modification laws. Ask LTA, I am clueless
