  1. This is a 3 lane road u are turning into. Not a 1 lane, not even a 2 lane road.

It's not unreasonable for both sides to be turning at the same time. Of course the right turning one has to be more careful.

You can say so when it's a small car turning, when it's a 20 or 24 wheeler, I see how the bike argue given those truck have super wide turning radius. Always give way to vehicle turning left when at signalized or non signalized traffic junction. Not referring to filtering such as zebra crossing

  2. Cannot. Our fielder don't have any thing for the rail to mount on. Only factory spec will have.

If you really want, must drill hole !!  [:/]

How I know ? Cos I also want and asked before  [laugh]

Bro, I just checked, Picnic rail can be use on our car. Searching for scrap picnic now, it's rare though

Ya man, I planned to drill, but can't even find lol. It's a work horse, need to put ladder and and curtain rails on top of the car.

  4. It hesitated and did not accelerate for another 1 or 2 secs even when i pressed more on the accelerator pedal.

I think my question here is whether is it possible that the change from Performance Tires to Touring Tires (Yokohama AE50) can cause these kind of acceleration issues? Or should I be looking at rim size (I do believe it is possible as stock is 15, compared to current one which is 17).

You got the car brand new and change the rim from 15 to 17?

  5. Fielder also CVT. Anyway, just placed an order yesterday. Car is smallish (so as to fall under a lower tax bracket in Jpn). Rear legroom is good, however headroom only decent. Tall guys won't like it ^_^  Very basic car, plain interior and some say boring ........... Why i chose Fielder

    1. I'm a sucker for "rare" makes and models .........  [laugh]

    2. Reliable engine

    3. Reported superb FC - This one have to confirm after I drive it for a while lah

    4. I like it that it is very simple and totally minimal electronic niceties or gadgetry

    5. Price - it's the cheapest wagon one can get

Hi Othello, still driving your Fielder? Which year is yours? So far where you get all the parts from?

  6. My apologies for quoting a post that is almost a year old.

I would like to know the circumstances that led you to claim warranty for the battery. Was it because the battery was not charging? Or discharging too quickly? Or deteriorated car performance? Or increased FC? How was the battery deemed "spoilt" and needed replacement?

Battery lose charge very quickly. It's the way I drove that squeeze the battery dry, if drive as a sane person, you won't get this issue.

  7. My car chassis and suspension is quite stiff, combine with Sg horrible road, it's really unpleasant, even in Malaysia they have better roads compare to sg, but most driver won't feel it because recently I'm driving a courtesy C180, all the rubbish road are almost like glass with the stock suspension but confirm it will wear prematurely...

Everytime I slow down due to those bloody patch, I will get blast or horn or high beam because of it...
