Netizens not happy with Toyota Egypt's Fortuner ad campaign

Toyota recently launched its Fortuner in Egypt and is targeting modern men as its main buyers. However, its tagline is drawing flak from netizens. Criticised as a case of gender discrimination, Toyota Egypt's commercial ends with the punchline, 'Toyota Fortuner… made for men’ and has since garnered no fewer than 3.2 million views on its Facebook page. Many on commented on the view saying that the ad is offensive and sexist. No official comments have been made by Toyota so far with regards to the uproar. Interior and exterior pics are out! Seems better than the current generation, looking forward to the diesel variant. There also seems to be a little lexus design there in the rear. 7 seaters too so will tick some extra boxes. Anyone knows when it's hitting our shores?

For those of you who are not familiar with the Fortuner, it's a SUV version of Toyota's Hilux pickup truck which has been refreshed recently. Said to be revealed before the end of July, the Fortuner will likely be made in Thailand and will retain the seven seater configuration if it does come to our shores. We expect it to share the same engine as the Hilux which also means that it should be getting a revised version of the 2.7-litre inline four that pushes out 166bhp and 245Nm of torque. The engine is said to feature Toyota's well-proven Dual VVT-i tech too. Those who have the Kia's Sorento and Hyundai's Santa Fe might want to look out for this!

hello guys. jus wanna hear some views from u people. i noe my previous posts was bout the BM camry and the Km accord 2.4.but it looks like my parents are thinking of having a change and getting an SUV instead.we came out wif the options of SUV wif 7 seater capability. we've shortlisted the possibilities and they are the TOYOTA fortuner VOLVO XC90 AUDI Q7 but the prices for the XC90 and Q7 are a little too high(>150k)so im thinking of getting the fortuner instead.any fellow fortuner-owners here? thanks. btw, im driving the cefiro 230jm currently(my mums)

Anyone witness the fortuner driven by one ah peh, hit the young kid cyclist at the lim bang/cck x junction? The light just got green and the cars started to move off when the young kid suddenly cycled across the junction. Then it was about to move into the path of the fortuner when a loud blast of horn grabbed hold of the driver's attention. The ah peh managed to stopped in time but his driver's side of door kena abit dented as a result of minor collison with the kid. Kid was alrite though. But its jam for a while. Anyone saw it?

Went to Toyota showroom last week and saw the new fortuner 2.7. the price is low for a 2.7 litre car. have any comments on this car?
