  1. A pet peeve of mine is when commercial vehicles (Eg. Vans, lorries, tipper trucks) travel on lane 2 of the expressway. And I am certain this is a pet peeve of many drivers in Singapore. Due to the speed limit imposed on these vehicles, they often cause a slow down in the lane they are travelling in (assuming traffic is clear and they are driving under the speed limit). However, just because they are commercial vehicles, does it give them the right for passenger vehicles to "bully" them? Watch this video to find out what I mean: IMG_7319.MP4 What Happened?
  2. RX500h F Sport RX500h RX450h+ The 2023 Lexus RX rides on the GA-K platform, and the fresh underpinnings let the vehicle shed up to 89 Kg compared to the previous generation. The wheelbase grows by 60 mm, but the rear overhang shrinks by 60 mm, meaning that the overall length doesn't change compared to the previous model. The 2023 RX is coming with four powertrains, but Lexus is only offering details about three of them right now. Details about the 450h+ plug-in hybrid will come later.
  3. The seventh generation Lexus ES will be the first to be introduced to markets in Western Europe. It follows the new LS flagship sedan and LC coupe in carrying forward a new chapter in Lexus design that has a much stronger emotional quality. The eye-catching styling, made possible by the use of an all-new Global Architecture - K (GA-K) platform, will have particular appeal to customers in the region, together with a more engaging driving experience and even higher safety provisions. The new ES is built on the all-new Global Architecture - K (GA-K) platform, giving Lexus the opportunity to e

  5. Good Day to Everyone! Finally got a chance to post and start a new forum myself; I am always looking forward for Lexus owners to share their driving experience, the things to watch out for the cars, maintainance, tyres / spare parts or some recommended service centres to share among all Lexus owners to better use the money when needed to deal with these matters for their cars. Feel free to update and post any replies; thanks for your kind support then!
  6. Don't seem to look any different from the current RX as a matter of fact looks identical.
  7. Rumored to be fully unveiled (online) tomorrow. Basically, this RZ is a distance cousin of Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Sorella Solterra, sharing the same e-TNGA electric vehicle platform.
  8. Source: https://www.motor1.com/news/571275/lexus-ct200h-production-end-japan-cherished-touring-edition/ We would forgive you for forgetting about the Lexus CT because there's not much memorable about it, but the hybrid hatchback is finally going out of production in Japan in October 2022. To mark the retirement, Lexus is building a final special edition that it calls the Cherished Touring. The Lexus CT200h Cherished Touring edition is available in two exclusive color schemes. There is a Sonic Titanium roof and a Graphite Black body or a Sonic Titanium roof and Sonic Quartz white body
  9. Been a late comer to the EV era, I think this show hand / all-in moment is Toyota way of playing catch up (heh look here, I have everything ready ok!)... But the fact remain that they are quite far behind other big names from Europe, Korea and China. During the media briefing on battery EV strategies, Akio Toyoda shocked the automotive world by unveiling 15 fully electric concepts previewing future models of Toyota and Lexus. What must be the largest rollout of concept cars in history includes everything you can imagine, from city cars, sedans,
  10. πŸ“’πŸ“’πŸ“’ ATTENTION PLEASE! ATTENTION ALL MCFers πŸ”ŠπŸ”ŠπŸ”Š The Covid-19 pandemic has drastically changed how we live, especially the way in which we purchase our vehicles. So, aside from just promoting sustainable motoring with its electrified models, Lexus, Japan's largest-selling make of premium cars, is also shaping the future of car buying. Watch us go live this Friday, 23 July 2021, at 12pm. To celebrate that, we're embarking on the sixth instalment of sgCarMart e-Hangout! This time with Lexus Singapore, where we'll showcase several hybrid models in its lineup on FB Live. For thos

  12. The feeling of being helpless when you are forced into a corner can be pretty unbearable. Watch the video below to find out what this Toyota driver did when faced with a similar situation: What Happened? This incident happened along Pearl's Hill Road. The Toyota driver (The person filming) went to deliver some goods and came back to a 'boxy' situation where he found his car boxed into a corner. A Lexus ES250 doubled parked and blocked the cam car, preventing him from driving off. The Toyota driver proceeded to call the number displayed on the Lexus' dash
  13. The luxobarge also gets dual touchscreens and F Sport and Ultra Luxury trims for the first time. Better late than never, the third-generation Lexus LX is finally being retired after no fewer than 14 years on the market. It was well worth the wait as the all-new SUV brings improvements on all fronts, starting with a new platform that has shaved off a whopping 441 pounds (200 kilograms) of weight over its predecessor. If that rings a bell, it's because the new Toyota Land Cruiser, which won't be sold in the US, has lost the exact same amount of fat as a result of switching to the TNGA-
  14. https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/new-2021-lexus-previewed-not-coming-uk The low-resolution, darkened shot, posted on the brand's Facebook page, shows the rear end of the new BMW 3 Series rival and reveals it features a full-width lighting strip, much like the UX crossover. The post also reveals an unveiling date of 9 June for the new model. However, Autocar has been told that the model won't be sold in either the European market or the UK. The IS has been offered here in its previous three generations, but sales have fallen in the face of the booming SUV market
  15. Lexus UX crossover revealed with aggressive design and new infotainmenthttps://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/motor-shows-geneva-motor-show/lexus-ux-crossover-revealed-aggressive-design-and-new Lexus has claimed that its upcoming UX crossover, which has just been revealed with new images, will be as agile as a hatchback thanks to an all-new platform with a low centre of gravity. Images of the car's exterior and interior have been released ahead of its public debut at the Geneva motor show, showing that it will also be one of the brand's most aggressive-looking models. Inside, there's a new
  16. A truck driver was spotted forcing open the carpark gantry arm for a Malaysian-registered Lexus in an open-air carpark along Hougang St 61 on 1st June, at around 11:26 p.m. The video also showed screenshots of the truck driver having outstanding fines while the Lexus driver did not seem to have a valid Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) or any outstanding VEP fines. Netizens' reactions Several netizens quickly commented on the possibility of the Lexus driver having to push the arm due to the fact that it might not have an in-vehicle unit (IU) as it was a Malaysian
  17. Hey guys, do u know any good and cheap experienced Lexus specialised workshop for me to service and overhaul my lexus gs? Thanks for all the recommendations and help!
  18. You know, usually when I think of swaying side-to-side, I think of something like this. Side-to-side motion, everyone looking good and enjoying themselves. However, when it comes to our local roads, swaying side-to-side usually means this.... Yup. Someone new is getting their 15 minutes of fame today. First of all, a Lexus GS300? I'm giving you props for that as I personally quite like that car. After all, a creamy 3.0-litre V6 from Toyota producing 245bhp and 310Nm of torque in something that comfortable is nothing to sneeze at. What I unfortunately cannot commend you on
  19. The Lexus IS may have been around for the longest time, but it also has been continuously massaged with improvements that ensure it continues to be an appealing proposition against its popular German rivals. This latest facelift sees the car getting not only an extensive exterior redesign, but also numerous body strengthening and a suspension overhaul! The Lexus fortunately passes the Auntie Trolley Test, but there is plenty more to know about the boot of the IS. It looks like headroom could be better at the back... However, Jon is certainly impressed by one little feature avail
  20. I saw the new IS300 in white during the sneak peek at Borneo. Looks really good in the flesh. Now waiting to see the IS350 F-Sport in real life. Had a very short test drive in the non-FSport IS300, with the standard shock absorbers(not adaptive variable). The way it handles speed bumps is astoundingly good, better than my AVS equipped GS450h. Also the way Lexus tuned the 2L turbo, I did not experience any turbo lag unlike the S60 T5 I also test drove. One thing I am unhappy with my Lexus salesperson is that he did not allow me to drive 99 curves to better assess the handling an
  21. I just recenlty got a COE lexus IS250. a, mot sure what fuel grade to pump so i just pump 98 to be safe, as i read on some manual that the min RON is 96. am i wasting money by pumping 98 ?
  22. Looking to celebrate a big milestone and take the next step up into the life of automotive luxury? The Lexus IS will tick all the right boxes for you. The passage of time is a fundamentally inescapable reality of life, one perhaps most easily marked by the annual celebration of your entrance into this world - birthdays. But marking the passage of time should be more than just plotting out one day in the calendar. Life should be celebrated in milestones. Milestone moments in life represent significant changes - changes that elevate and enhance our lives for the better. Star
