The fifth generation Maserati Quattroporte has been around since 2004. Fortunately, the arrival of the sixth generation Italian sports saloon should be dawning upon us. Over the past one year, prototypes of the new Quattroporte have been spotted in heavy camouflage. The recent generation Quattroporte were released around the time I finished secondary school back in 2004, besides a facelift in 2009, the Italian luxury sports sedan has not had a replacement model for near 8 years. Which is why it was a sigh of relief when I heard Maserati is developing an all new model to be revealed and rumours were flying off saying it will be a CLS competitor or small than the current car to compete with the BMW 7 series and Mercedes S Class. Which is why when this bit of news got up in the world's widest web, I got a little excited, not that I am going to buy one but I just love the styling of the Maserati's. With recent spy shots of the sedan haven't been much of help, we have what looks like patent drawings found by AutoWeek. To be taken lightly till we see less camo'd vehicles, you see the resemblance to the smaller sportier, Maserati GranTurismo, and the Maserati Kubang specially the headlights. Rumors are the next-gen sedan to be available with either a turbocharged V8 or a supercharged V6 assembled by Ferrari. The first chances of actually seeing it in the flesh is during next year's Detroit Motor Show. Credits: Autoblog

It comes to no surprise that the move has caused an outrage in Italy as the ministry is supposed to cut its budget by-
