  1. http://www.honda.com.my/news-events/news111_p_09102007.cfm Petaling Jaya, 9 October - Honda Malaysia announced today that the All-New Stream -- the second generation of the stylish 7-seater MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle), will be available for sale at all Honda authorized dealers in November this year. According to Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr.Atsushi Fujimoto, Malaysian customers are anticipating and have been enquiring about the arrival of the new generation Stream."We are currently in the midst of preparing for its launch, and it will soon be made available to our customers in November through our authorized dealers nationwide," he said. "Honda cars have a strong following here in Malaysia and we are confident that the All-New Stream will be well received. Only at Honda authorized dealers, all Honda vehicles including the new generation Stream come with 3 years warranty and free maintenance for the first six months. There will also be promotional offers for Stream parts and services, available at all authorized dealers," he added. "The current Stream 2.0 iVS is priced at RM153,800. In the tradition of Honda's dedication to provide products and services of the highest quality at reasonable prices, the All-New Stream is packaged to delight our customers with its latest product features and specifications coupled with extensive after sales warranty and services," said Fujimoto. 49 of Honda's 52 authorized dealers nationwide are 3S Centers, which provide sales, service and spare parts under one roof, allowing customers to experience Honda's new products while perusing the after-sales facilities available. Prioritizing customer satisfaction and providing excellent after-sales service is what 3S is all about. The Stream is a practical MPV combining dynamic styling features, advanced drivability and a real sporty image. It was first launched in Japan in October 2000 as a minivan and was developed to achieve a new 7-seater value concept based on three themes: a design anticipating the changing needs and style of the 21st century; sporty performance for the individual; and an innovative approach to interior space, comfort and refinement. Following its introduction, the Stream recorded strong sales globally, with a total of 285,744 units sold particularly in the Japanese market where the average monthly sales exceeded original target of 6,000 to reach 10,000 units per month. It was one of the main contributing automobile models to Honda's worldwide 2001 fiscal year financial results. Over the years, the Stream has also accumulated a string of award accolades in the Southeast Asia region, ranging from the Best MPV, 2002 (Straits Times Life Motoring, Singapore); Car of the Year, 2003 (New Straits Times MasterCard, Malaysia - Mid MPV Category); to Best MPV 2003 and Indonesia Car of the Year, Best Mini MPV, Best Compact MPV 2004 (Mobil Motor Magazine, Indonesia). The spanking new generation Stream made its debut in Japan last July and 70,000 units already have been sold as of September 2007. It boasts a series of improvement from the previous generation stemming from Honda's renowned innovations and craftsmanship. After Japan, it was progressively launched in Singapore, Hong Kong and Macau, and has so far been well received. Honda Malaysia is expecting similar response and take-up from local customers. 2. Good afternoon to all Siss and Bros, Urgently needed to rally in all your helps to see if you can help locate a MISSING Honda Stream which was found stolen from a SengKang MSCP. Last Saturday, while at CSII awaiting to have my car wash, I learned from the boss that there is a Honda Stream being found stolen from one of SengKang MSCP!!!! To make things more scary is that the place where the Stream got stolen is about 200 meter away from my MSCP, whereby my FD1A also got stolen sometime in Oct 2010. But Lucky for me and thanks to the Civic Forum bros, who managed to chanced upon my ride and finally got my car back in one piece. This time round the Stream got stolen in Dec 2010 and by now is already went missing for one month period. I felt sorry for the car owner and could fully understand both her anguish and sadness. Meantime here are the car details. 1) Honda RSZ Stream 2) Black Color 3) Carplate: SjS9478C 4) Last reported Missing location: Blk 122, Rivervale Drive 5) All door columns are stick with CF sticker 6) the original Honda Emblem have been changed to Red coloured Honda Emblem 7) too bad that owner did not take any pictures of her ride when the car got stolen. further details can be found from www.sgstream.org forum So siss and bros, please help and thanks for your precious time and support. Wish all of you a Happy and 'Huat Ah!!!' 2011 Chinese New Year.
  3. Hi forumers here who has done some research. Wana have some quick responses. I have been ard looking for a 07 or 08 WISH but seems like there's not much in the market except for 05 and 06 models? And most of the salesperson are pushing which is more widely available in the market. - Is there a common problem for Wish which surfaces after some time? - Is there a common provblem for Stream after some time? - Stream is a bit on the higher side as compared to Wish but they generally have higher OMV value. True? - Base on paper, which ride provides better power? - What's your personal feel on each ride? - Wish seems to provide better rear boot space and Stream seems to lack of that but compensate with better road control (just my personal feel after test driving both). Any comments? Pros and Cons? - Which gives a better FC? (although i know its base on road usage and loading. )
  4. Thinking of changing to either Freed or Stream, need advice from owners, pros & cons (mod friendly ), many thanks in advance

  12. This driver was intermittently braking for nothing with no vehicles in front or behind him and swaying in his lane after exiting KPE to Buangkok Drive. Looked like another drunk driver to me. As our car which was in leftmost lane passed his, his Stream swayed into our lane and got horned by my hubby, who was driving. Moron still had the cheek to accelerate up past us then braked to stop smack in the middle of the road. 2nd lane from left. And then gestured thru his window at us. Both cars stopped side by side at junction. Hubby got down and asked him, "You cut into my lane, I horned. Anything wrong?" He had the cheek to shout, "I ONLY JUST CUT INTO YOUR LANE! You need to horn ah? What is the matter with you?" I was like "WTF!!", then hubby said, "What is the matter with you? You just stopped in the middle of the road like that!" Then suddenly green light and the driver just sped off. My hubby had not had a chance to say anything else and he was gone. Hubby got back in car and we went on our way. Blardy drunkard-looking moron! Completely lost not just his manners but senses as well.

  16. Honda Announces an All-New Stream TOKYO, Japan, July 13, 2006 - Honda announced the release of an all-new Stream. Featuring a low-floor platform, the new Stream combines stylish compact exterior with a comfortable interior and powerful driving performance. With a low overall height of 1,545mm*, the new Stream has a modern dynamic look and fits conveniently into most restricted-height mechanical parking lots. The new Stream will go on sale from Friday, July 14 at Honda automobile dealers throughout Japan. The new, second-generation Stream is a 7-passenger car with the versatility and functionality to make getting around a true pleasure. Along with its vibrant, low-slung styling, it delivers total comfort and a feeling of integration wherever the driver and passengers come in contact with the vehicle - whether getting in and out, steering, throttle response, or changing the seat arrangements. Body frame rigidity has been enhanced for improved driving performance, and the front sub-pillars have been eliminated to attain a significant increase in visibility. The floor design has also been significantly improved to create a flat foot area from corner to corner and a significantly lower floor for the third row of seats. These innovations mean improved passenger comfort as well as a lower center of gravity for superior handling. Both powerplants-the newly developed 2.0l i-VTEC engine with CVT and the 1.8l i-VTEC engine with 5-speed automatic transmission-deliver powerful, smooth driving performance from low-to-mid speeds. The sporty RSZ, available in both 2.0-liter and 1.8-liter versions, comes equipped with 17-inch aluminum wheels and a custom-tuned suspension for extra driving enjoyment. The RSZ's custom aerodynamic parts, black interior, and other attractive design features combine to enhance the car's sporty driving image. All models have earned Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport certification as Low-Emissions Vehicles, with emission levels 75% lower than those required by 2005 standards, while the front-wheel-drive models exceed Japanese government fuel economy standards for 2010 by 10%. The new Stream is also available with the most advanced Honda safety technologies, including IHCC** (Intelligent Highway Cruise Control), which controls vehicle speed and distance to the car ahead to reduce the burden on the driver, and CMBS2 (Collision Mitigation Brake System) + E-pretensioners**, which uses millimeter wave radar technology to detect the possibility of a collision and then help avoid or reduce the force of the collision. * 4WD model height is 1,570mm (micro antenna excluded from both measurements). ** Available as a factory option on all FWD models Key Features of the New Stream Styling The new Stream's dynamic styling features an agile, low-slung form that expresses functional beauty reminiscent of a coupe.
  17. Just came across this from our local bodykits installer, saw at their thread they converted the front of the Honda Stream to Audi RS4 front. I think their workmanship is good but what's up in the mind of the owner? that's just weird............... Sorry but if that person is my friend, i will definitely laugh at him rather than praising that the car is very nicely done
  18. Hi all, a review on Stream by BT: GOOD things sometimes come in small packages, or in the case of the new Honda Stream, not quite small but compact. This seven-seat compact MPV first appeared on our roads last September as a parallel import. Its popularity soon rivalled that other best-selling grey import - the Toyota Wish. The only difference between the two, however, is that the Stream is now available through authorised distributor Kah Motor. The neat 'coupe-crossover' styling of the second-generation Stream is a big change from the old model, but the major improvements are to be found inside. Its driving position is a revelation because Honda has finally realised that not all drivers are five feet tall with no torso. There is now an adequate amount of space between the steering wheel and the seat, although the latter could still go a bit lower. The new model's wheelbase is 20mm longer than its predecessor's and, with the rearrangement of the pedals, yields an extra 30mm in legroom for the third row of seats. Most importantly, the last row has a flat floor and good toe-room, so the two back-seats can actually be used by two adults. The rear passengers don't get their own air-vents, though. Instead, a centre vent on the dashboard - called the 'upper vent' - channels cool air to the back of the car. There is no manual shifting of the five-speed automatic gearbox either. And unlike higher-end Stream models in the domestic Japanese market, no steering-mounted paddle shifts. But like all auto Honda gearboxes, this one is smooth and quick enough when left to do the job on its own. The 1.8-litre engine obviously doesn't provide mind-blowing acceleration but it is acceptable. The word 'Eco' lights up on the instrument display when the i-Vtec engine is in its most economical mode. Honda says that when this happens, the 1.8-litre unit is operating with the fuel economy of a 1.5-litre engine and it is possible to log as much as 14 km per litre during highway cruising. As an export model, the Stream has certified Euro 2 reliability compliance for its engine and transmission. Compared with the parallel imported version, it also has rear disc brakes, an immobiliser and a security system. The Stream was conceived as a versatile and easy-to-drive utility model and those goals have largely been achieved. Its steering is light at parking speeds and tightens up when going faster. The ride comfort is good and the interior quiet at higher speeds. It may be a relatively basic car, but it is a well-made and affordable little package. Bigger isn't always better, it seems. Engine: 1,799cc Gearbox: 5-speed automatic transmission Max power: 140hp @ 6,300rpm Max torque: 174Nm @ 4,300rpm 0-100 kmh: 11.4 secs Top speed: 193 kmh
